MEET THE ARTIST

Valerie Marze, a native of Many, Louisiana, now calls Sunset, LA, home. In addition to being a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and nurse, Valerie is also a passionate artist. Her love for art began in childhood, taking after-school lessons, and although she pursued a career in nursing, her creative spirit never waned. Throughout the years, she painted for friends, family, and even adorned her children’s bedroom walls with murals. Recently, she made the decision to share her art with a wider audience.

Valerie’s work is available in various businesses across South Louisiana, and her commissioned pieces can be found in homes across Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and Alabama. She is also honored to have her art featured in the St. Jude Dream Home, and she generously donates pieces to support causes like Dreams Come True, Breast Cancer Awareness, and RescYOU.

Valerie's art captures the beauty of the South, from the grandeur of live oaks and cypress trees to the wildlife along the coast. Her signature style involves layering paint and texture, bringing depth and dimension to each piece, with a color palette that complements any home. Valerie often adds a touch of gold to her work, giving it a unique, radiant finish.
